Detailed Description
It features a unique CIIR+EPDM rubber compound formula. The ultralow gas permeability of chlorinated butyl rubber (CIIR) combined with the excellent thermal aging resistance of ethylenepropylenediene monomer rubber (EPDM) greatly reduces medium vapor loss of the hose during operation and significantly extends its service life. Boasting outstanding UV resistance, ozone resistance and weatherability, the hose maintains stable performance even under longterm outdoor service. The inner layer of the hose is reinforced with polyester or aramid fibers, while the outer layer is braided with polyester yarn or stainless steel wire, achieving a working pressure of over 2.0 MPa.

Four-Layer Construction for Harsh Chemical Environments
When CIIR+EPDM's inherent chemical resistance meets the mechanical protection of an external braided sheath, the result is a hose system specifically engineered for the most aggressive service environments - chemical processing plants, semiconductor fabrication facilities, and outdoor industrial installations where both chemical exposure and mechanical damage risks coexist.
The four-layer construction provides redundant protection:
- Layer 1 (CIIR+EPDM inner tube): Primary chemical barrier with the lowest permeation rate in our product family. Resists glycol-based coolants, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, dilute acids, and alkalis.
- Layer 2 (Internal fiber braid): Pressure containment. Fully isolated from the external environment by the CIIR+EPDM cover, preventing chemical attack on the reinforcement fibers.
- Layer 3 (CIIR+EPDM cover): Primary chemical barrier with the lowest permeation rate in our product family. Resists glycol-based coolants, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, dilute acids, and alkalis.
- Layer 4 (External braid): Mechanical shield. The stainless steel wire variant provides an additional chemical-resistant barrier in environments with airborne corrosive agents (HCl, Cl₂, SO₂ mist) that could degrade the rubber cover over time.
Stainless Steel Outer Braid for Corrosive Atmospheres
In chemical processing and semiconductor facilities, airborne corrosive agents pose a unique challenge for hose systems. While the CIIR+EPDM cover provides excellent resistance to dilute chemicals, prolonged exposure to concentrated acid mist or chlorine-containing atmospheres can eventually degrade the rubber surface. The stainless steel wire outer braid serves as a sacrificial corrosion barrier:
- 304 stainless steel: Resists atmospheric corrosion in environments with up to 200 ppm chloride content. Suitable for general chemical plant areas and outdoor installations in coastal regions.
- 316 stainless steel: Molybdenum addition provides pitting corrosion resistance in environments with >200 ppm chloride or exposure to sulfuric acid mist. Specified for semiconductor clean room supply lines and marine/offshore chemical handling.
