Bending & Installation Guide

Proper bending technique is critical for maintaining the structural integrity and service life of convoluted PTFE hoses. The minimum bend radius for each size is listed in the parameter table above - these values must never be exceeded during installation. Bending should be performed by hand only; the use of heat guns or mechanical bending tools is strictly prohibited, as localized overheating can cause permanent deformation of the PTFE convolution geometry.

For horizontal hose runs, support clips should be installed at intervals no greater than 300mm to prevent sagging between mounting points, which can concentrate stress at individual convolutions.
