The 802 series incorporates a high-tensile inside braid layer using polyester, aramid or copper-plated steel wire reinforcement, which elevates the working pressure to 1.5 MPa (burst 4.5 MPa) while preserving flexibility. The smooth CR cover seals the reinforcement from moisture ingress and chemical splash. This combination of weather-resistant elastomer and braided strength makes the 802 series ideal for outdoor industrial installations where hoses are continuously exposed to the elements but do not require the highest pressure rating.

The braided reinforcement is applied using a precision circular braiding machine that maintains constant fiber tension throughout the winding process. Proper installation and regular maintenance are essential to maximize the service life of CR 802 series hoses. Always use a sharp blade or rotary cutter to make clean, perpendicular cuts through the hose wall - angled cuts can create leak paths at the fitting interface. Constant-tension hose clamps (such as spring-band or worm-drive with a spring insert) are preferred over standard worm-drive clamps, as they automatically compensate for thermal expansion and cold-flow relaxation of the CR cover.

During routing, never exceed the minimum bend radius specified in the parameter table above. Sharp bends concentrate stress on the outer braid fibers and can cause premature fatigue failure. Allow sufficient slack in the hose run to accommodate equipment movement and vibration. For outdoor installations, conduct visual inspections every 6 months, checking for surface cracking, color fading, or hardness increase - all indicators of UV-induced degradation. Replace hoses immediately if any of these signs are observed.

When storing spare hoses, keep them in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, ozone-generating equipment (such as electric motors and transformers), and heat sources. Coiled hoses should be stored horizontally to prevent permanent set deformation. Follow ISO 2230 guidelines for rubber product storage conditions to preserve shelf life.
