The 1102 combines pre-formed geometry with braided reinforcement, addressing unbraided hose limitations in pressurized circuits. Unlike straight hoses requiring field bending-which crushes the bore and creates stress-the 1102 is molded to exact 3D shapes in a heated press, with reinforcement braid integrated during forming.
The inside braid layer-polyester for general service, aramid for high strength-elevates working pressure from 0.5 MPa (unbraided) to 1.5 MPa, enabling pump discharge and high-flow main line applications. The pre-formed cover seals the braid from coolant splash, UV, and abrasion while maintaining low-extractable properties.
Materials: IIR (butyl rubber) for lowest gas permeability, CIIR (chlorobutyl) for improved vulcanization compatibility, EPDM for widest temperature and coolant compatibility.
